It's February 17th, 1571 and Marcle Hill in Herefordshire, England begins its historic journey. Over the next 14 hours an apparently immovable feature of the landscape leaves a chasm 400 feet wide and 520 feet long as it destroys a chapel and uproots trees and hedges before coming to rest in its current position - 66 feet above the point it began.

The 'walking hill' wasn't man-made or the result of an overactive imagination, it was caused by an internal landslip. Small internal pressures, movements and changes - insignificant by themselves - combined to cause something that seemed impossible by any normal standards.

Marcle Hill Solutions was founded in 2003 to harness the internal pressures within individuals, organisations and society - to make major change possible through small incremental steps and nudges.
